21.8.5.7 Membership Committee.

21.8.5.7.2 Duties. The committee shall:

(d) Have the authority to conduct an audit of the information contained in a member institution's minimum financial aid report and minimum sport-sponsorship report (see Bylaw 7.3.1.9.1.);
(e) Have the authority to conduct an audit of an institution's fulfillment of membership requirements if the institution is placed on probation for failure to fulfill more than one membership requirement during a 10-year period (See Bylaw 7.3.1.9.2.); and

Additional Information:
With the adoption of NCAA Division II Proposal No. 2023-2 (NCAA Division II membership and institutional control -- active membership -- institutions -- conditions and obligations of active membership -- elimination of self-study and evaluation), the Institutional Self-Study Guide (ISSG) was eliminated. Further, the adoption of NCAA Division II Proposal No. NC-2023-28 (NCAA Division II membership and institutional control -- active membership -- institutions -- elimination of audit of membership requirements), eliminated the audit membership requirements. This editorial revision is necessary to align the legislation with the adoption of Division II Proposal No. 2023-2 and Division II Proposal No. NC-2023-28.
