Major Infractions Case

The violations of NCAA legislation that arose out of the failure to adhere to penalties set forth by the Committee on Infractions in a previous infractions report that was adopted by the institution pursuant to its employment of the former head men's basketball coach. The underlying violation in this case involved prohibited telephone calls.

Additional penalties imposed by the committee were the following: public reprimand and censure; three years of probation; show-cause order placed on the former head coach for a period of five years; show-cause order placed on former assistant coach A for a period of three years; annual compliance reporting required.
