High School's NCAA Courses

Proof of graduation will be used through the remainder of the academic year in which a high school's account status
changes if its previous account status permitted the use of proof of graduation. For high schools that do not operate
on a traditional academic calendar, proof of graduation will be used only through the completion date of coursework
for which the student was enrolled prior to the change in account status. The status of core courses will remain
through the academic term (e.g., semester, quarter) in which a high school's account status changes. For schools
with nontraditional academic calendars, core course statuses will remain for students with a course enrollment date
prior to and including the date of school status change.

When a high school indicates a course is offered exclusively to students with education-impacting disabilities, a "=" symbol appears next to the course title. NCAA legislation permits a student to receive credit for a core course only one time. As a result, if a student repeats a core course, the student will only receive credit once for the core course, and the highest grade earned in the course will be included in the calculation of the student’s core-course GPA. Likewise, if a student completes a course that is duplicative in content with another core course, the student will only receive credit for one of the duplicative courses, and the course with the highest grade earned will be included in the calculation of the student’s core-course GPA. |
