Violations of NCAA legislation in the men's basketball program involving unethical conduct by both the former head men's basketball coach and a former assistant men's basketball coach by providing impermissible inducements and benefits to a prospect and to a then enrolled student-athlete.
Additional penalties imposed by the committee were as follows: public reprimand and censure; one year of probation; show cause order placed on the former head men's basketball coach for a period of two-years; show cause order placed on the former assistant men's basketball coach for a period of three years; annual compliance reporting required.
