13.4.3.4 Conference-Sponsored Sportsmanship Initiatives. A conference office may buy or arrange to have space in game programs or other printed materials published to provide information concerning the athletics participation of prospective student-athletes, provided the content of the printed materials is limited exclusively to promoting sportsmanship, and the materials are not designed to solicit the enrollment of prospective student-athletes. In addition, a conference office may produce posters, limited exclusively to promoting sportsmanship, which may be sent to any educational institution. It shall not be permissible to send any printed materials related to a sportsmanship initiative (e.g., poster) to a prospective student-athlete. (Adopted: 4/26/07 effective 8/1/07)
